Jacob Timms is a Salford born Artist B.1993,

His creative practice sits at the intersection of art, spirituality, and ecology. Exploring how these interconnected fields shape identity and belief in the Anthropocene. 

His work is intimate and responsive, influenced by direct engagement with place, capturing the textures and traces of lived environments and human experience. Through analogue photography, soundscapes + printmaking. Attempting to capture subtle, intangible elements beyond physical form, reflecting the temporality of life and the eternality of existence . 

He spends his time between Europe, India + Nepal, documenting his time living with Sadhus, exploring the ecology and traditional practices of indigenous spiritual practitioners. He has since taken Diksha initiation from his Guru and been given the name Jai Ram Das.
