A minimalist interior with a small black table and two black chairs. The table has a white candle in a black holder and a small black vase with white flowers. A large potted plant with green, heart-shaped leaves grows along the wall, and a small wall hanging decorates the light-colored textured wall.

SHRINES, 2021

Shrines began as a project in 2020, a culmination of a years exploration of nature + spirituality. Creating moments for contemplation + interaction, using living elements and man-made found objects to create a mergence between the realms of nature and manufacture.

Shrines act as a physical representation of the cyclical existence of nature, a focal point for thought on how we as humans interact with the life force that surrounds us. Creating Conversations about our reality and what is the truth to our human experience, how can we reimagine our relationship with our planet that is in a state of crisis? How can we reconnect with the reverence humanity once had with nature as a manifested representation of the divine, of which we are non-different?
