Jacob Timms is a Salford born Artist B.1993,

His work explores landscape, divinity,  human experience + the environment.  His practice creates conversations around ecology + our evolving symbiosis with the natural world, highlighting the fragility of these relationships in the Anthropocene.

The work is intimate + deeply influenced by direct engagement with place, capturing the textures/traces of lived environments through analogue photography, soundscapes + printmaking. Capturing the subtle, intangible beyond the physical form and reflecting the temporality of life.

In 2024 he began a research trip in India , documenting his time living with Sadhus, exploring the ecology and traditional practices. He has since taken spiritual initiation from his Guru and been given the name Jaya Ram Das.
